I saw the word ‘Ubiquitous’

I saw the word ‘ubiquitous’ and I thought of you
I’ll add it to my other lists of words too
Like ‘frozen’ and ‘gone’ and ‘boo’
I guess that’s the only way to never really say ‘adieu’

I saw the word ‘ubiquitous’ and I thought of you
Because everywhere I go I always think it’s a breakthrough
That to see you, I finally get to
But I’m disappointed by the cutting stares these strangers give me when after them I pursue

I saw the word ‘ubiquitous’ and I thought of you
You’re dead and that reality I refused to cling to
So I have moved from my Gmail to my Yahoo
Just so I never see your mails and then need some tissue

I see the word ‘ubiquitous’ and I’m still thinking of you
You’re everywhere; my heart, my soul, the streets and even on the bottle of my shampoo
And yes, yes, I’m going cuckoo
But you’re really gone and that’s something I cannot just breeze through

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
