My Words

My words are mine and I choose  whether or not to say them.

My words are ink not lead, they are not easily erasable; not easily forgotten; not easily refutable.

My words are my bond; like a belt around my waist, they bind me.

My words are a boomerang; they will always come back to me.

My words are a mirror; they reflect the state of my mind.

My words are a sword; they may defend or destroy.

My words are my secured possession; they can never be stolen from me unless I give them away.

My words are a vehicle; they carry me from one place to another.

My words are a balm; they may cause a person to fall by making the floor slippery; they may soothe.

My words are mine and I choose to use them wisely.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
